Submission Guidelines for Inspirational

In addition to the general submission policy, inspirational manuscripts submitted to Cordelia Press must follow the guidelines listed below:

✓Cordelia Press categorizes inspirational fiction as fiction featuring main characters who live their lives in accordance with the standards of mainstream Christian groups.
✓In general, main characters in inspirational fiction published by Cordelia Press may not do any of the following: smoke (tobacco or other), consume alcohol to the point of drunkenness (moderate alcohol consumption will be considered on a case by case basis), engage in premarital/extramarital sexual activities, curse, swear, blaspheme, gamble (including lottery games), lie, gossip, or anything else contrary to contemporary Christian morals.
✓We understand that inspirational fiction may overlap with other categories (inspirational romance, inspirational women’s literature, etc). If a manuscript is accepted for publication, a final line placement will be determined as part of the editing process.
